Greetings and welcome to Revere Software™. We’re excited to be here and we’re looking forward to connecting with you. Since this is our inaugural blog, we want to take a few minutes to introduce you to Revere – who we are, what we offer, and who our clients are – and to give you an idea of what you’ll find in our future blogs. So let’s get right to the point…
Who are we?
We are a company that believes knowledge is meant to be shared and that people in any organization are meant to easily connect and network. The best nonprofit organizations, foundations, professional associations, educational institutions and corporations can all benefit from tapping their internal brain trust.
We are led by Founder and CEO Brian Kurth, an expert in the field of career guidance, who CNN has called “America’s dream job matchmaker.” Brian’s first groundbreaking company, VocationVacations, provided hands-on career mentorship experiences in hundreds of career types. In 2012, VocationVacations evolved into PivotPlanet in response to changing consumer expectations and technological advances. In 2015, Brian and team launched Revere Software in Austin, Texas.
What do we offer?
Imagine a professional networking site like LinkedIn, where the host enterprise organization determines who has access. Add scheduling capabilities, optional user-generated ratings and rankings, a back-end console to keep the organization’s administrator(s) informed and in control, and you’ve got a state-of-the-art networking and knowledge-sharing platform. Private-label it to reinforce the enterprise clients’ brands, and you’ve got Revere.
Who are our clients?
Revere is for organizations struggling to share expertise and information, develop talent and engage their most important assets – their people. Revere easily and efficiently connects employees, members, students, alumni, grantees or other constituents with internal subject-matter experts. We can adapt our platform to nearly any type of organization but our most frequent clients are:
- non-profits and foundations seeking to build networks of subject-matter experts to support the work of employees and grant recipients;
- professional and trade associations seeking to build value in their membership programs;
- universities, seeking to connect alumni with fellow alumni and students;
- large and mid-sized companies seeking ways to connect their employees with a network of internal subject-matter experts and/or external advisors to support career development and learn best practices.
As problems go, Revere's prospective clients have a good one. They have a wealth of knowledge and expertise right under their noses. The problem is that they cannot easily engage and connect their experts with others in their organization who need and want to share in that expertise. Revere is the solution. Associations retain members. Foundations reinforce grants. Non-profits and corporations retain valuable employees. Universities increase graduation-to-hiring rates and retain students and alumni membership.
