Brian Kurth

Brian has paved the way for thousands of people to find joy and success in their careers.

Dubbed “America’s dream job matchmaker” by CNN in 2010, Brian’s first groundbreaking company, VocationVacations, provided hands-on career mentorship experiences in hundreds of career types. In 2012, VocationVacations evolved into PivotPlanet in response to changing consumer expectations and technological advances. Today, Brian is founder and CEO of Revere Software™.

Brian’s expertise in career development and his penchant for innovation have been noted by many, including Daniel Pink in his New York Times bestseller, “Drive,” and in “The Start-up of You,” by LinkedIn’s Reid Hoffman. He has been an on-air contributor for NBC, CNBC, CNN, FOX News, MSNBC and NPR and has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Fortune, Entrepreneur and O, The Oprah Magazine. Humorously channeling the zeitgeist of its time, Fox network parodied VocationVacations in a 2007 episode of “King of the Hill.”

Brian is also the author of “Test-Drive Your Dream Job,” published by Hachette in 2008, and was co-executive producer of “This Job’s a Trip” on the Travel Channel.

Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Brian’s corporate career spanned more than a decade in product management, business development and sales with Ameritech and AT&T.
